Dial-up Internet Access
University Telcom, Inc. offers dial-up Internet access. Dial-up Internet access uses existing phone lines to transmit data back and forth when an Internet connection is established. Availability of the service is limited to the customer's ability to dial 474 or 833 numbers locally.
Modem-on-hold
Our dial-up access also supports modem-on-hold that allows calls to be answered without disconnecting an active Internet connection. For this service to be available, a V.92 modem and Call Waiting service through your local phone service are required.
